Meredith Hanna, Vice President
Meredith Hanna is a volunteer Chaplain with the Shreveport Fire Department with many family connections to the Red Line across the country. She is PASSIONATE about serving first responders, their families, and connecting chaplains across the community and state. In addition to serving as a volunteer chaplain with SFD, Meredith is an active Response Team member and officer of Signal 51 Group, is the LFCN Region 9 coordinator. She holds multiple trainings/tools “in her toolkit” including CISM and is a Trust-Based Relationship Intervention (TBRI) Practitioner.
Prior to serving the Fire Service, Meredith was a volunteer Law Enforcement Chaplain (she still loves the blue line too).
When Meredith is not volunteering with the Fire Service, you can find her at her full time job as the Preschool and Children’s Minister at FBC Shreveport, LA. She holds both a bachelors and masters in ministry. She is a regional leader in her field and is often invited to churches and conferences as a trainer and speaker.
Meredith cannot wait to connect with you!
The Louisiana Fire Chaplain Network is broken down into 9 different regions.
The goal of regions is to encourage a tight-knit, smaller, community of chaplains who are relationally working together and training together.
Each region is assigned a coordinator to assist departments in their region to develop chaplaincy programs and help fire departments and districts who do not have fire chaplains.
