REGION BREAKDOWN

The Louisiana Fire Chaplain Network, Inc. is broken down into 9 different regions.
The goal of regions is to encourage a tight-knit, smaller, community of chaplains who are relationally working together and training together.

Each region is assigned a coordinator to assist departments in their region to develop chaplaincy programs and help fire departments and districts who do not have fire chaplains.

OUR HISTORY

As stated above, the Louisiana Fire Chaplain Network, Inc. was organized May 5, 2011 and incorporated, and approved as 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization on May 9, 2011. The primary goals of founding the LFCN members and board included, but were not limited to, unifying Fire Chaplains across the state of Louisiana to best serve the Fire Service through equipping chaplains in world class training and “setting the bar” through relationships, community, connection, listening ears and loving hearts. A true chaplain within the Fire Service wants to meet the men, women, and families of the Fire Service “where they are at”.

We are grateful for the rich history of Chaplains in the State of Louisiana and for those who paved the way for where we are today. We are grateful to the present serving chaplains and those who will serve with us in the future.
